Package: kodi Version: 16.1+dfsg1-1 Followup-For: Bug #832364 Dear Maintainer,
I have the same bug. I think it has something to do with the MPEG-TS container format which is used by broadcast TV. If you use VLC to convert a video file to MPEG2 video/AC3 audio encapsulated in MPEG-TS, Kodi suffers the same crash. A video converted to MPEG-PS with the same av codecs does not suffer the same crash. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (650, 'unstable'), (600, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.6.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages kodi depends on: ii kodi-bin 16.1+dfsg1-1 ii kodi-data 16.1+dfsg1-1 kodi recommends no packages. kodi suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
