In any case, RFC 2821 states "The local-part of a mailbox MUST BE treated as case sensitive", so while at some point we may make queries for [EMAIL PROTECTED] be equivalent to [EMAIL PROTECTED], it's unlikely that we'll make [EMAIL PROTECTED] equivalent as well, as we're not entitled to assume that.
