Hi, Just want to add my bit on this one.
The documentation states that when "interface" option is used, the daemon binds on * but reject queries that come to interfaces not listed. This does not work, so eitheir the documentation is misleading or there is a bug (arguably a security one, since it leads to a false sense of security when you think you're not enabling DNS service on a public interface when in fact you are).
