Note: If you rely on a specific feature of a package which has not reached testing yet, consider using a versioned build-depends. The script which migrates packages to testing (britney) does not take build-depends in account yet, but at least in this case I would get an error like "build-dependencies not meat, can't build package" which is usually better than a FTBFS. Note 2: There is at least another package which broke after new git entered testing. It's git-build-recipe, Bug #835526. Maybe there is a common reason for both packages to fail. Thanks.
