Package: sponsorship-requests Severity: normal Dear mentors:
We at AdoraDeal LLC are big fans of Debian and Open Source programs. We recently released several little programs under GPL V3.0. Among the programs we released are the two below, which I believe may fill a gap and be useful for many people. If someone is interested on making a package with any of those two, I would love to see that (I created those programs exactly because I needed them and no similar alternative was available on Debian, at least for LXDE). The programs I am suggesting are: powerzz V1.0.1: powerzz is a battery power monitor. It will warn the user of low battery power when the charge level reaches 15%, and it will start the critical action when the battery charge level reaches 7% (at that point, a warning will be shown and the user will have 30 seconds to cancel the critical action by pressing "Cancel"). This program has 3 settings, which can be chosen via a zenity gui: "off" (do nothing), critical action "hibernate" and critical action "shutdown". It uses cron to run. A simple & useful power manager for LXDE and other desktops. https://www.adoradeal.com/powerzz.html upshutzz V1.0.0: upshutzz is an "on-demand", unassisted system update program. It will check for and fix any software packages "errors" and broken dependencies, then it will update the package lists from the repositories (apt-get update), then it will run a safe update (apt-get upgrade), then it will check for and update (if installed) the flash player, and after it finishes running it will shutdown the computer. The upshutzz program should be used when you are ready to shutdown the computer for the day, just launch it and leave the computer doing its thing - the easiest way to update, ever! https://www.adoradeal.com/upshutzz.html Regards, Jamil Said Jr. President - AdoraDeal LLC www.AdoraDeal.com
