(GStreamer 0.10 is not relevant, Rhythmbox is built against 0.8.) You reported a problem with Rhythmbox segfaulting prior to installing artsd, and not segfaulting anymore since you installed it. Please remove artsd to reproduce the problem and try the command lines outlined in README.Debian, eg. "gst-launch-0.8 playbin uri=file:///home/lool/music/mp3/Air/10,000\ Hz\ Legend/01\ Electronic\ Performers.mp3". Do they segfault? (gst-launch-0.8 is in gstreamer0.8-tools.)
