Package: logwatch
Version: 7.1-2
Severity: important

After recently upgrading logwatch (in etch), the root partition fills up each night due to excessive sized temporary files genereated by logwatch. This did not occur before the upgrade.

The main culprit seems to be the logwatch check for sonicwall. Sonicwall is not
even
installed on this system.

Sonicwall did include messages in it's LogFile list, unnecessarily duplicating the messages* logfiles.

This should be fixed in version 7.2.1-0test3, available from
http://pkg-logwatch.alioth.debian.org/
(manual download from
http://pkg-logwatch.alioth.debian.org/apt/pool/main/l/logwatch/)
