I have updated the proposed patch with a few more changes: - reduced cosmetic changes in the patch.- removed the old-style config file, as it is deprecated and replaced by pkg-config.
The proposed changes are attached as libcgicc_3.2.16-0.1.debian.tar.xz and as diff. I have also uploaded a build to Debian mentors, and will request for sponsorship for the package in a few days, unless I hear otherwise.
