Hello, What if you install Thunderbird binaries from upstream. Does that have the same problems? Somebody tried that? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/
And is there an upstream bug about this? Maybe interesting to know to know that the same problem excists in oldstable. I am interested if the same problem excist in other distro's like Ubuntu. I don't know about it. This problem is NOT on all computers. I know a few what do not have it. Maybe it can be interesting to find out the difference? This is not OK for a program in "stable"...
