Thanks for your bug report! To explain the situation: iodine upstream ships /usr/sbin/iodine and /usr/sbin/iodined (the client and the server); these are the two binaries that "are iodine" and are needed. All their dependencies are in Depends. Additionally we ship in a Debian an additional optional third-party helper/wrapper script that makes it easier to start the client; that's /usr/sbin/iodine-client-start, and its dependencies are in Suggests (as they are needed only for this shell script and this script is not necessary at all, even if it's nice). I still think that this makes sense and is a correct setup, therefore currently I'm not inclined to move ipcalc et al. from Suggests to Depends. Cheers, gregor -- .''`.
