Package: tiger
Version: 1:3.2.3-14.2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Today I received the following tigercron report:

-----
Subject: Cron <root@amboise>    test -x /usr/sbin/tigercron && { [ -r
"$DEFAULT" ] && . "$DEFAULT" ; nice -n$NICETIGER
    /usr/sbin/tigercron -q ; }

    /usr/bin/basename: unrecognized option '--ERROR--'
    Try '/usr/bin/basename --help' for more information.
    /bin/cat: unrecognized option '--ERROR--'
    Try '/bin/cat --help' for more information.
-----

This indicates that either tigercron or some script it invokes does not
expect errors and does not escape the arguments it passes to basename
and cat.
