Those bugs tend to get more reponse than a private mail and there was a reaction in the mailing list, too: https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=9541413&forum_id=9713 As they are now at .1 and probably will never go back, Debian will have to live with it. Maybe comment on the upstream list. Together with this, I repeat my wish to update the lib in Debian. USB support is now included in CVS and obexftp can make use of it. This should enable new hardware to be accessable (although none that I have available personally) which should be worth the effort.
