Hello, I really don't know what to tell you, I've no idea where to even start debugging this ...
Yes, I get an X server process and lots of session related ones -- it's running, just not on my xrdp screen. No, I hadn't read the new README.Debian, but I can't see how it's relevant, as I'm using Linux + systemd and standard RDP security. Current status: * If the default session is set to xfce, Remmina 1.1.2 (Ubuntu) can connect and reconnect normally. MATE (which I'd been using and would like to use again) does not work. If the server machine is suspended/resumed, xrdp breaks until the next reboot (black screen). * The Windows 7 built-in client doesn't work at all, teal screen after login no matter what I do. * Neither the VNC options nor "console" work at all anymore. * Going back to 0.6.1 doesn't help. (And before you ask, I'd rather not have to re-install the whole box. I'd sooner go back to a fixed number of manually launched VNCs.) Cheers, C. 2016-10-03 17:00 GMT+02:00 Dominik George <n...@naturalnet.de>: > Control: tags -1 + moreinfo > > Hi Christian, > >> so I've had the previous xrdp (0.6.1?) and vnc4server working >> flawlessly for months but with vnc4server dropped from testing and the >> X backend supposedly so much better than VNC I decided to take the >> plunge and upgrade to 0.9.
