Package: libgs9-common
Version: 9.06~dfsg-2+deb8u3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

In ghostscript-9.06 present in Jessie repository there are no Ukrainian and
Russian glyphs in a number of fonts. Namely, in all the URW family.

These fonts are invisible in LibreOffice, for example.

I checked it using the following command:

$ fc-validate -l uk /usr/share/ghostscript/9.06/Resource/Font/URWBookmanL-Ligh
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.06/Resource/Font/URWBookmanL-Ligh:0 Missing 72
glyph(s) to satisfy the coverage for uk language

$ fc-validate -l ru /usr/share/ghostscript/9.06/Resource/Font/URWBookmanL-Ligh
/usr/share/ghostscript/9.06/Resource/Font/URWBookmanL-Ligh:0 Missing 66
glyph(s) to satisfy the coverage for ru language

I reported this bug upstream:
http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=697224

however, they answered that everything is allright in the newer Ghostscript
version, and the only way to get this working is to upgrade to the lates
version.
