I confirm the problem under Debian Jessie, version 1:3.6.1+deb8u1. The
problem is not new.

Almost each time the plugin needs update I need to downloaded the plugin from
adobe.com. This makes the flushplugin-nonfree package basically useless.

Yesterday it confirmed that the plugin is outdated:

    ... ...# update-flashplugin-nonfree --status
Flash Player version installed on this system : 11.2.202.635
Flash Player version available on upstream site: 11.2.202.643
    flash-mozilla.so - auto mode
      link currently points to /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so
    /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so - priority 50
    Current 'best' version is '/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so'.

However this (run by the root)

    ... ...# update-flashplugin-nonfree --install

did not change anything. The same for

    ... ...# update-flashplugin-nonfree --uninstall

(No line of output in both cases)

Removing and installing the package via synaptic did not help either - still
there was the old version.

With best regards
--W.
