In the current state of packaging most certainly not. However kernel was behind recent changes in Ceph so package was useful for troubleshooting for some time... I only wanted to keep the package in experimental to avoid bothering ftp-masters again in case someone wants to use it... As far as I'm concerned nobody needs it so it is safe to remove...
