Hi Martin & Simon, In my testing yesterday, I found that before the "fix", NONE of my video files played on digikam. After I built with ENABLE_MEDIAPLAYER=ON, then at least some of my videos played. But not all of them.
I wanted to ask whether this matches your experience. On Tue, Nov 01, 2016 at 02:02:20PM +0100, Martin Steigerwald wrote: > Am Dienstag, 1. The videos that did NOT play for me did emit a message about GStreamer plugins, as the KDE bug alludes to. I do have "good", "bad", and "ugly" plugins installed. So I'm at a loss here. > Hmmm, okay, seems this issue is unrelated to Digikam then. > > Steve, would you like me to report a new bug against this?
