Package: git
Version: 1:2.10.2-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Lines 3 and 4 in the git.maintscript file are missing the second path
(new-target).

dir_to_symlink /usr/share/doc/git/contrib/hooks 1:1.7.7-1
dir_to_symlink /usr/share/doc/git/contrib/emacs 1:1.7.4~rc1-0.1

The format as specified by `man dpkg-maintscript-helper`:

dir_to_symlink pathname new-target [prior-version [package]]

I believe these lines should be changed to:

dir_to_symlink /usr/share/doc/git/contrib/hooks
../../../git-core/contrib/hooks 1:1.7.7-1
dir_to_symlink /usr/share/doc/git/contrib/emacs
../../../git-core/contrib/emacs 1:1.7.4~rc1-0.1

Finally, I believe that this is related to bug #676316 (wishlist bug to use
dpkg-mainter-helper scripts) which can probably now be closed.

Thanks,
Justin
