Package: xpp Version: 1.5-4 Severity: normal
I'm using the -t / -T option to specify a job title: % xpp -t myjob testpage.ps Nevertheless, my printer (using the NRG-DSm635_PXL.ppd from linuxprinting.org) always uses the value "&title;" instead of "myjob" as specified on the command line. The PPD I'm using contains: *JobType DocServer/Document Server: "%% FoomaticRIPOptionSetting: JobType=DocServer" *FoomaticRIPOptionSetting JobType=DocServer: "SET USERID="&user;" @PJL SET HOSTLOGINNAME="&user;" @PJL SET DATE="&year;/&month;/&date;" @PJL SET TIME="&hour;:&min;:&sec;" @PJL SET JOBID="&title;" @PJL SET JOBNAME="&title;" @PJL SET OWNERID="&user;" @PJL SET DISKIMAGE=ON" *End *CloseUI: *JobType Other options, like setting the "Document Server Password" and the "Job Type" work OK. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-386 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages xpp depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libcupsys2 [libcupsys2-g 1.1.23-12 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii libcupsys2-gnutls10 1.1.23-12 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii libfltk1.1 1.1.6-10 Fast Light Toolkit shared librarie ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-5 GCC support library ii libice6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-11 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-5 PNG library - runtime ii libsm6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxft2 2.1.7-1 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii xlibs 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-9 compression library - runtime xpp recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
