Package: git-buildpackage
Version: 0.8.6
Severity: wishlist

gbp-dch -R --commit is very convenient in that it not only creates the
changelog entry but also commits it to git. The next step, which I
currently need to do manually, is to create a signed tag, e.g.:

  git tag -s -m "upload 1.0-2 to unstable" debian/1.0-2

It would be nice if gbp-dch had a --tag option, which would do this
automatically for me :).

Thanks!
