Happy to test if you give me a clue what to type. Which files, what
command? I'm not familiar with flex usage, or the global source base.

I confirmed that just rebuilding 5.7.1 in testing or unstable does not
fix it, but then as you say the offending bit is not regenerated in
the normal build (perhaps it should be?).

Or you could test it yourself...
