Package: connman Followup-For: Bug #845383 Thank you, Arthur,
I found a blog, where someone built connman from source based on the debuild command. With some modifcations the procedure worked on my Debian Sid (unstable) distribution. The built connman binary depends on libxtables12 now. I can confirm, that connmand only starts, when iptables is installed. My GUI network-app "cmst" for wireless connections is working again (being dependent on connman). kind regards oz -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages connman depends on: ii dbus 1.10.14-1 ii init-system-helpers 1.46 ii libc6 2.24-7 ii libdbus-1-3 1.10.14-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.2-2 ii libgnutls30 3.5.6-7 ii libreadline7 7.0-1 ii libxtables12 1.6.0+snapshot20161117-4 ii lsb-base 9.20161125 Versions of packages connman recommends: pn bluez <none> pn ofono <none> ii wpasupplicant 2.5-2+v2.4-3+b1 Versions of packages connman suggests: pn indicator-network <none> -- no debconf information
