With this patch, the build completes successfully; a package has been uploaded to the archive. However, my tests to see whether firefox works like that have failed. Apparently there is something wrong in one of the libraries it uses; as a result, firefox segfaults even before starting up. This obviously isn't a bug in firefox, but it does mean that I currently can't confirm whether this patch works.
