Right-clicking on any system-monitor item in the desktop (e.g. a graph)
produces an empty menu und the following error in the logs:

The packaged version in Debian (tag v31) is more than 2 years old.
This bug was fixed over a year ago (97cb07e). 
Please consider packaging a recent snapshot. I'm running master without
any problems.
