It also FTBFS on sparc64 due to crashing in pixbuf-randomly-modified (although with SIGSEGV instead)[0], but I couldn't reproduce it, even using the same random seed as in the build log. I gave it back and it rebuilt successfully (albeit on a different buildd). I suggest it is given back on mips64el and the severity of this lowered (unless this build also fails).
