FYI, I've uploaded your openjpeg2 branch as an NMU. After the holiday season I will look into properly sorting the rest out.
Some comments: The GCC warning fix silences GCC but doesn't fix the portability issues with the code that it changes, since there can be platforms with floats that are not 32-bit IEEE float format.
