Package: usbguard-applet-qt
Version: 0.6.2+ds1-1
Severity: normal

Hi.

With the new autostart .desktop file, the usbguard applet still
doesn't show up in cinnamon's systray - it is however running
and the dialogs when a USB device are inserted show up.

This may very well be a bug in cinnamon itself (which seems to have
quite some issues with regards to systray icons).
Even if, it's unlikely that this is going to be fixed anytime soon...

A workaround for me seemed to be setting a delay in the startup,
which works with e.g.:
X-GNOME-Autostart-Delay=5
(for 5 secs delay)

Since the actual usbguard daemon is still running, this wouldn't have
anysecurity implications.

Cheers,
Chris.
