Hello eyed3 maintainer(s),
I am another user bitten by this bug.
I can confirm that jack is completely unusable with
python-eyed3/0.7.10-1, while it works correctly with
python-eyed3/0.6.18-3 ...

It seems to me that python-eyed3/0.7.x has a library interface which is
definitely incompatible with previous versions.
It would be highly useful, if some backward-compatible
symbols/methods/classes could be implemented in python-eyed3.
Is that possible?

I am raising the severity of this bug, as it breaks jack, thus having a
major effect on the usefulness of package python-eyed3.

Please address this issue as soon as possible: please forward this bug
report upstream and/or prepare a patch to fix it.

Thanks for your time.
Bye!
