I think that libopenmpt should be enabled in the Debian ffmpeg package. libopenmpt-dev is in the archive right now. libopenmpt is designed to be a replacement for libmodplug as it handles the same types of files. There is an FAQ documenting the differences here: https://lib.openmpt.org/libopenmpt/#sec_faq. The major advantage is that it has a fairly active upstream compared to libmodplug and certain modules play better with it. I don't know if libmodplug has to be disabled, but presumably ffmpeg will choose one over the other for the vast majority of cases so I'm not sure it's worth it having both enabled. Thanks, James
