Source: firefox Version: 50.1.0-1 Severity: normal I noticed that firefox has a Build-Depends: libgnome2-dev, libgnomeui-dev, and Suggests libgnomeui-0
Reading the configure switch for gnomeui, it says: --enable-gnomeui Enable libgnomeui instead of GIO & GTK for icon theme support Do we really want that? libgnomeui has long been deprecated and is dead upstream. Is it providing anything that GIO & GTK don't? If not, can we drop those dependencies please so we can get rid of libgnome/libgnomeui eventually. Thanks for considering.
