Package: service-discovery-applet
Version: 0.3.1-3
Severity: wishlist

The Service Discovery Applet should display human-readable names in its
preferences dialog instead of the service types that are currently
listed, since the service types are not very user-friendly to look at
and enter manually. This information is available in Avahi's service
type database, so it shouldn't be too hard to implement.

Additionally, this would allow selection from a whole list of predefined
services instead of having to manually enter ones that are not included
by default, which would be nice as well.

Cheers,

Bram Senders
