I was hit by this bug when building Virtual Machines for Vagrant. Not sure if it's a qemu bug or a Debian Networking problem, because if I stop the network with
service networking stop and then request a new configuration with dhclient eth0 then I get this time a IPv4 DNS entry from the qemu builtin DHCP server. @manuel: can you confirm this behaviour ? What would speak for a qemu problem though would be the Qemu 2.7 changelog: Network User-mode networking supports DHCPv6, RDNSS, DNS6 and link-local DNS addresses.
