Package: unknown-horizons Version: 2017.1+ds-2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer, Right now what happens is if there are any change/s to the depends or recommends then the unknown-horizons binary gets downloaded each time. This is waste of time and bandwidth from the user as well as Debian's server/mirror perspective.
It would be much better and much more highly efficient (probably) if we have a small program which deals with all or any changes with depends or recommends. Unknown-horizons binary should only be disturbed when the change directly affects unknown-horizons, otherwise not. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages unknown-horizons depends on: ii python 2.7.13-1 ii python-enet 0.0~svn24-1+b2 ii python-fife 0.4.0-2 ii python-yaml 3.12-1 pn python:any <none> ii ttf-unifont 1:9.0.06-2 unknown-horizons recommends no packages. unknown-horizons suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com EB80 462B 08E1 A0DE A73A 2C2F 9F3D C7A4 E1C4 D2D8
