Here is a record of my intentions for stretch. The following bugs should be tagged "important": #852661 dgit: fails to fetch when Maintainer has `,` in name Can prevent dgit from being used, at all, on some packages currently in Debian. (Already tagged important.) #853085 ud private tree needs some git config copying from user's #853093 git `3.0 (quilt)' import can generate commits with extra blank line These two cause dgit to generate suboptimal commits, which will then usually be immortalised in the history. The wrongness is not so wrong as to be RC. #851873 dgit: getting apt updated wrong number of Release files (), erk at /usr/bin/dgit line 1267. when trying to push This one is "important" if it might affect fetches from debian-security, but not otherwise. I need to investigate it. I also intend to ask RM approval for: #853125 fix typos in dgit documentation Covered by the freeze policy. #853022 dgit fetch can fail on detached head If the fix is trivial and obviously correct, then this would fix an annoyance which is likely to come up for users fairly often. The error message won't suggest, to the user, the proper workaround. Ian. -- Ian Jackson <ijack...@chiark.greenend.org.uk> These opinions are my own.
