Package: mate-power-manager

Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

None of the predicted times are even broadly accurate (so that the computer
often just
switches off with a few seconds or no warning). The statistics reflect that.
Pressing the
Help button just creates a message box “Document Not Found;
The URI ‘help:mate-power-manager/index?statistics’ does not point to a valid
page.” (which
does not help at all) and offers the choice “Search for packages containing this
document.” even though clicking on it just opens another complaining window,
which this
time around whines “You do not have Package Kit," although this is incorrect:

i packagekit 2 admin Provides a package
management service stable
i packagekit-command-not-found 0 misc Offer to install
missing programs automatically stable
p packagekit-dbg 0 debug Debugging symbols for
PackageKit stable
p packagekit-docs 0 doc Documentation for
PackageKit stable
p packagekit-gtk3-module 0 libs Install fonts
automatically using PackageKit stable
v packagekit-system-interface 0 Unknown
                                            i A packagekit-tools
0 libs Provides PackageKit command-line tools stable

What can I do to get accurate statistics? Can I change the percentage settings
for when
the remaining charge is considered low or critically low?
