one of the Ubuntu users has analyzed a segfault reported in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1208091 which is linked to #734103. Laurent concluded that there is a race condition in the net backend for which he provided a patch in http://tinyurl.com/j5qjcqc. Please have a look and include the patch if you feel it is appropriate. Regards Rolf
