Package: git-buildpackage
Version: 0.8.12.2
Severity: normal

When generating patches we don't generate a From line anymore like:

  From f57c88e2e7a94d3f623ee64e3c59adbdfeb9404a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001

This is bad since patches can't be easily forwarded with "mutt -f
patchname" anymore easily.

This got broken by c661c7153783c79c45fbe63d828b03ea0a788215 in 2013.
