Package: vboot-kernel-utils Version: 0~R52-8350.B-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I tried to build a kernel image for my XE303 (Snow) notebook. vbutil_kernel now requires a bootloader which the version 0~20121212-3 did not. This is a regression. I do not have/need a bootloader in the kernel image. It is built into the device. Please make it possible to build images for XE303 with the current version of the utilities as well. Perhaps the error is requiring the bootloader on ARM platform while it is needed on x86 and EFI enabled ARM devices only. Or should I provide an empty file for bootloader with the new version?
