Package: getmail4 Version: 4.4.3-1 Severity: normal
When I put a line like certfile = ~/.certs/mycert.pem in the config file, getmail fails with this error: Configuration error: optional certfile must be path to a valid file Using the path without the ~ works (ie, /home/user/.certs/mycert.pem). A lot of examples are using ~ in some places (like message_log), where it works so the user expects it to work there too. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (991, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages getmail4 depends on: ii python 2.3.5-5 An interactive high-level object-o getmail4 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
