I already built a 1.6.0 package with the fix myself and this doesn't fix the issue for me (as already indicated in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=777831#c14). It's still the same with your packages (1.6.2-1~test0). Thomas Haller indicated that I probably also need the fix for https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=770938 . I didn't check this and also didn't try the fix for that, because last time updating the Debian package to the original fix for https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=777831 made the package FTBFS.
