I confirm this bug is still present in (now frozen) Stretch and prevents to setup a stateful redundant load-balancer (e.g. along corosync/pacemaker).
Forementioned patch does solve the issue. It'd be nice if it could be considered for Stretch (and all upcoming releases): +1 ;-) Thanks and best, Cédric Dufour
