Ok, I'll try to learn about how to use dgit. Thanks! > On Fri, Mar 03, 2017 at 02:38:06PM +0100, Svante Signell wrote: > > I made this upload, renaming 3.04-4 to 3.04.real, mainly to obtain > > an updated > > upstream tarball, which is not the case for the current version in > > testing. OK, seems reasonable to start with -1. The reason for my first upload was based on the comments from Adam Borowski saying that since the Debian version of the tarball is a stripped-off version of the real upstream one it is more difficult to use debdiff. Hence, I thought uploading a version with the correct upstream tarball would be a good first step. And then submit a package with the real changes. > Please show me the package that you actually want me to upload! > Preferably in git, so that nobody has to use debdiff :) See above, Thanks for the link, I'll be back. Now I even think I have a linitan clean version :) BTW: Do I need to publish my packages somewhere locally? I currently don't have a web server running. Or is it possible to just use dput? Thanks a lot for your interest in sponsoring this package :)
