Package: kernel-package
Followup-For: Bug #849357

In addition to this bug I see more strange things with 4.10.

When I use one command line to create both targets, image and headers, only the
linux-image package is built.
Like:
fakeroot make-kpkg --revision 10.meins.0 --initrd linux-image linux-headers

No error is reported!

And if I run only
fakeroot make-kpkg --revision 10.meins.0 --initrd linux-headers

then it works eventually except for this: it hangs for minutes at
  CHK kernel/config_data.h
and I see faked occupying a whole CPU core in that time.

IMHO this isn't normal.

Best regards,
Eduard Bloch.
