the reason for failing is already written by the output of the script. There are the folders .icedove *and* .thunderbird found in your home directory. If you have installed 1:45.7.1-1 before there shouldn't be a folder .icedove left over as this was moved to .icedove_moved_by_thunderbird_starter So if you have used .thunderbird until now you won't need a folder .icedove. Removed that folder or rename it and Thunderbird will start. Regards Carsten
