according to the diff between -4 and -5 that was posted, the location of the config file templates is still taken from a conffile, so while upgrading the postinst will still look in the location set by -2, which does no longer exist. Unfortunately testing to show that this is true will require manual work, since it needs a stretch from snapshots where gitlab was still installable. Andreas
