Package: kmix Version: 4:3.5.1-1 Severity: normal This refers to a bug in KDE's bug database: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121451
The kmix panel applet has a bug with my SB Audigy that does not show up in kmix's application/system tray, or any other mixer applications. The mixer itself has duplicates for three mixer channels, the bass, treble and 3D Control Sigmatel channels. The channels aren't split, and using the left version moves the right version, but not vice versa (the right slider also has no affect on the audio itself) This can be reproduced on other SB Live/audigy cards using alsa. This bug's already been filed upstream in the url above, but if a patch is forthcoming, it'd be nice if it could be backported next time kdemultimedia is released into unstable :) Thanks Andrew -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15 Locale: LANG=en, LC_CTYPE=en (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages kmix depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.1-1 core libraries for all KDE applica ii libasound2 1.0.10-2 ALSA library ii libc6 2.3.5-12.1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-8 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 kmix recommends no packages. -- debconf information: perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = "en_AU:en_US:en_GB:en", LC_ALL = (unset), LANG = "en" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C"). locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
