Just as some prefer emacs to vi, I prefer columns to rows.  It's amazing what 
you can do with a single row and lots of semi-colons.

Actually, sometimes I end up looking at really wide data or log files when 
tabular representation is nicer than wrapped rows.  I wouldn't neccessarily 
expect emacs to do this, but more so I wouldn't expect it to segfault.

Absolutely
  1. /usr/bin/emacs-snapshot-gtk
  2. "ctrl+4000 ." just to get an idea of how many columns are showing
  3. enlarge the window to one side
     (grab & drag corner, ctrl-middlebutton, etc...)
  4. move window over, partially off the screen
  5. goto step 3 until segfault
