Package: src:efl Followup-For: Bug #858563 You can use dpkg-buildpackage -nc -T<rulename> to call debian/rules, but still have the advantages of dpkg-buildpackage setting up the environment. So the debian/rules specific-rule-running feature is still available along with a 'use dpkg-buildpackage' stipulation.
(I assume it still sets up the correct variables in this usage mode). -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.8 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
