Package: openssh-server Version: 1:7.4p1-10 It is common to do large modifications to sshd_config. Would you mind to support avoiding config file conflicts on future openssh updates?
Suggestions: - drop /etc/ssh/sshd_config from the Debian package completely and rely on the defaults (my favorite) - support a subdirectory /etc/ssh/config.d to look for config file extensions - use /etc/ssh/sshd_config.local (supplied by the user) instead of sshd_config, if possible Regards Harri
