Package: libpam-ldap
Version: 186-3
Severity: grave

libpam-ldap 184-8.7 (Jessie) installed a config file on
/usr/share/pam-configs/ldap
telling pam-auth-update how it should re-configure the files on /etc/pam.d when
the
command pam-auth-update is executed (that the package libpam-ldap executes on
the
postinstall)

libpam-ldap 186-3 (Stretch) not longer installs this file

jessie $ dpkg --contents libpam-ldap_184-8.7+b1_amd64.deb | grep
pam-configs/ldap
-rw-r--r-- root/root 518 2014-11-08 18:35 ./usr/share/pam-configs/ldap

stretch $ dpkg --contents libpam-ldap_186-3_amd64.deb | grep pam-configs
# nothing

Therefore the package on Stretch is pretty much useless for new installs.

The workaround is to copy this file manually from libpam-ldap=184-8.7
and manually execute pam-auth-update.

Please, bring /usr/share/pam-configs/ldap back into libpam-ldap
